​​​​​​​Each year Auckland Netball takes nominations for special awards so that we can recognise the people within the Auckland Netball community who dedicate their time and share their passion for the game and those who have shown excellence in netball throughout the season. Nominations open in July/August of each year with winners being announced in the following months.
ANC Philip Hope Award
This is an annual award that recognises an individual member for their volunteer efforts over the year from December through to December. It is acknowledged that many individual’s efforts are the result of several years’ commitment and involvement so while a nomination is made in a particular year it does however recognise the total contribution.
ANC Laser Club Premier Player Award
Awarded to a Premier Player that gives back to the club e.g., administration, umpiring, coaching, managing etc.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
ANC Service Award
Outstanding service to ANC in: Administration, Managing, Coaching, Umpiring, Player or a combination.
A minimum of 5 years’ service to the Centre shall be pre-requisite to a nomination for a Service Award.
Recognition of special work for the game of netball.
Minimum of 15 years' service shall normally be required for a Life Membership award.
The holding of an ANC Service Award is a pre-requisite for a Life Member Award.
Stonefields Community Coach of the Year Award
The Stonefields Community Coach Award is to acknowledge a coach that has demonstrated a desire in the development of players, being innovative in their role, achieving excellence in performance and showing inclusiveness and integrity through their coaching.
